Wedding Makeup Series- Look 1

Hannah&Riley(48of126)

My most common request for bridal makeup, or really most makeovers, is usually one of three types of looks. For my wedding makeup series, I’ll give you a sneak peek of the colors and products I use for each look so you can get the look for yourself.

Jeff and I got to model for an amazing photographer, and I used one of the looks for this shoot.

NOTE: I typically use SeneGence makeup since it’s water-resistant and lasts FOREVER, so it’s perfect for weddings. Sometimes I’ll use other brands of products too.

The first look is usually a warm brown smokey eye, with a soft pink lip. I’ll call it “Blushing Bride”. This is the products I used in the shoot. It’s best suited for light-to-medium skin tones as is, and I’ll use different shades but the same concept for my brides with deeper skin tones.

Products used:

FACE:

Silk Pore and Wrinkle Minimizer

Color Correcting Tinted Moisturizer (my shade is Light, but you can find the color chart here).

MakeSense Foundation (I use the shade Almond, but you can find a color chart here).

Color Concealer (shade: light. Sometimes I use green for color correcting and white for highlighting)

Contour- Moca Java ShadowSense + Suede Foundation

Highlight- MakeSense Pearlizer

Pouty Pink BlushSense + Pink Posey ShadowSense. Find a color chart here.

Bronzer: Deep Caramel foundation or Bronze BlushSense

blushnon

EYES:

Brows: ShadowSense for filling in, BrowSense for lining the brows. Watch my tutorial here.

Base: Sandstone Pearl ShadowSense (variation: Candlelight ShadowSense)

Crease: Moca Java + Mulberry ShadowSense

Lids: Moca Java Shimmer (variation: Candied Cocoa ShadowSense)

Inner Corner: Pink Opal Shimmer ShadowSense

Outer Corner: Onyx ShadowSense + Moca Java (variation: Garnet ShadowSense)

Lower-Lash line smudged shade: Moca Java ShadowSense (ot Garnet)

Liner: Black EyeSense on top and Black EyeSense Pencil in lower lash line

VolumeIntense Waterproof Mascara

False lashes- I like Ardell brand, especially the Demi Wispies. These are the magnetic Wispies (and they were a struggle, as you can see below).

Lips:

I layered Girlfriend LipSense and Bombshell LipSense, though normally I would do Goddess (cool) or Sassy Z (warm) LipSense. Sealed with Glossy Gloss. (Variations: Apple Cider, Girlfriend, or Dark Pink LipSense. Sealed with Glossy Gloss.)

Setting Spray- Skindinavia Bridal Makeup
